These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of services by Master Protections. By requesting a
survey, engaging our services, or using our website, you agree to be bound by these terms.
These terms are written in accordance with applicable UK laws, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015
and relevant industry regulations.
Definitions

• Client refers to any individual or business using our services
• Services include installation, maintenance, monitoring, and repair of security systems
• Equipment refers to all devices supplied and installed by the Company
Scope of Services
We provide the following services across the M25 region:
• Intruder alarm installation and repair
• CCTV system installation and maintenance
• Fire alarm systems installation and servicing
• Access control systems
• Security system monitoring (where agreed)
• Emergency call out services
All services will be delivered as agreed in writing or via approved quotations. Quotations and Surveys
All quotations are based on initial information provided by the Client and may be subject to change
following a site survey.
• Surveys are conducted to assess property requirements
• Final pricing will be confirmed after evaluation
• Quotations remain valid for a specified period stated in writing
The Company reserves the right to amend quotations if requirements change.
Client Responsibilities
The Client agrees to:
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Allow access to the property at agreed times
• Ensure a safe working environment for engineers
• Inform the Company of any changes affecting the installation
Failure to meet these responsibilities may result in delays or additional charges.
Installation Services
All installations will be carried out:
• By qualified and experienced engineers
• In accordance with relevant UK safety and electrical standards
• Using suitable and approved equipment
While we aim to minimise disruption, some installations may require drilling, wiring, or temporary
access restrictions.
Maintenance and Servicing
Regular maintenance is essential to ensure system performance.
• Maintenance plans may be offered separately
• Scheduled servicing must be honoured by the Client
• Missed appointments may incur additional chargThe Company is not responsible for faults arising from lack of maintenance.
Monitoring Services
Where monitoring services are provided:
• Alerts will be handled by designated monitoring partners

• Response actions may include notifying keyholders or authorities
• Monitoring is dependent on network connectivity and system functionality
The Company is not liable for delays caused by third-party monitoring providers or external factors.
Emergency Call Out
We offer emergency call out services subject to availability.
• Response times are estimated, not guaranteed
• Emergency services may incur additional charges
• Access to the property must be provided promptly
We will make every reasonable effort to respond quickly and resolve issues.
Equipment and Ownership
• Equipment supplied remains the property of the Company until paid in full
• Ownership transfers to the Client upon full payment
• The Client is responsible for the care and protection of installed systems
Unauthorised tampering may void warranties.
Payments and Charges Payments and Charges
• Payment terms will be outlined in the quotation or invoice
• Deposits may be required before work begins
• Full payment is due upon completion unless agreed otherwise
• Late payments may result in additional charges or service suspension
We reserve the right to recover outstanding payments through legal means if necessary.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
• Clients must provide reasonable notice for cancellations
• Late cancellations may incur charges
• The Company reserves the right to reschedule appointments when necessary
We aim to be flexible while maintaining service efficiency.
Warranties
• Equipment warranties are subject to manufacturer terms
• Workmanship warranties will be outlined where applicable
• Warranties may be void if systems are altered by unauthorised parties
Details will be provided at the time of installation.
Limitation of Liability
While we take all reasonable precautions:
• We do not guarantee prevention of all security breaches
• The Company is not liable for losses resulting from system failure beyond our control
• Liability is limited to the value of services provided
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our control, including:
• Natural disasters
• Power outages
• Network failures
• Government restrictions
Services will resume as soon as reasonably possible.
Health and Safety
We comply with all relevant UK health and safety regulations.
Clients must ensure that premises are safe for engineers to carry out work. Any hazards must be
disclosed in advance.
Data Protection
We handle personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
